Hutchinson County Funding

April 14, 2016.  The James River Water Development District awarded $28,573.13 to Hutchinson County for bank stabilization at three bridge locations.  Due to flooding on the James River in the last few years many of the banks surrounding the bridges of Hutchinson County are eroding.  The County has determined that three of the bridges need to have the banks stabilized before the bridges become compromised.  The bank stabilization projects will include shaping of the bank and placing rip rap to stabilize the bank and to stop future erosion and flood damage.

The District Office is Closed to the General Public until Further Notice.
