Ducks Unlimited Funding

September 8, 2016.  The District awarded $50,000 to Ducks Unlimited to replace a failing water control structure that services an 80-acre wetland located on Sand Lake National  Wildfire Federation and an adjoining Waterfowl Production Area in Brown County.  The corrugated culverts are rusting through and seeping water is causing soil around the water control structure to erode. If the old water control structures are not replaced soon, the continued soil erosion will lead to the complete failure of the structures and compromise the dike that holds water in the wetland.

The District Office is Closed to the General Public until Further Notice.
